Hooks: the hardest part

Okay, so hooks aren't actually that hard. But starting a book is and I'm nervous. I just reread the measly 15 pages of the novel I was writing and realized that all of it is crap. So now that it's summer, I'm planning on restarting the book. But I can't! Something keeps nagging me and telling me that the new versions gonna' suck as much as the first! I'm procrastinating big time! (This blog entry's a way of procrastination!) Oh, and congratulation Katkin! I heard you finished your first novel...(yes, I read your blog) Better get writing!
